Introducing the Proba Standard Advisory Board
Proba is proud to announce our Proba Standard Advisory Board. We are delighted to welcome Lena Euwens and Danielle de Man, who will oversee and govern the Proba Carbon Standard and our methodologies. Lena’s expertise in sustainability and organizational transformation, along with Danielle’s background in certification and sustainability standards, will be valuable in ensuring our standard and methodologies remain robust and credible.
Ensuring Integrity and Independence
The Proba Standard Advisory Board operates independently of Proba's daily operations and commercial activities. Initially appointed by the Proba Management Board, the Advisory Board can nominate new members over time. This board validates or rejects changes to the Proba Standard and methodologies, ensuring all processes are followed and aligned with best practices and current needs in the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM).
The establishment of the Proba Standard Advisory Board marks a significant step in strengthening our governance framework. By ensuring that our standards and methodologies are overseen by experts, we enhance the credibility of greener supply chains. This, in turn, reinforces trust among our clients and stakeholders, who can be confident that our processes are rigorous, transparent, and aligned with the highest industry standards.
We look forward to working with Lena and Danielle. Their guidance will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and innovation within Proba, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the VCM.
